Singapore PHP User Group

Welcome to the Singapore PHP User Group. The current group was founded on Dec 28, 2006. Our inaugural meetup was held on January 11, 2007 at Brewerkz. A grand total of 7 people RSVPed (about 5 showed up) (http://www.meetup.com/sgphpug/events/5349671/). The meetup really took off after we moved to Facebook in Nov 2007. Our first event on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/events/6089200921/) was filled to capacity at the SMU seminar room. PHP (recursive acronym for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor") is a widely-used Open Source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.
