One of the primary purposes of practical data analysis is to enable better decisions to be made. In this talk (at PyData Singapore: http://www.meetup.com/PyData-SG/), I will take a decision that needs to be made, and apply different statistical and machine learning methods to gain insight into making that decision in a data-driven manner. Along the way, I will also take you on a tour of the Python-relevant parts of Google Cloud Platform's Big Data and Machine Learning capabilities.
